Archaeological Sciences Centre has been receiving guidance and expertise from many leading archaeologists and scholars in India and abroad. We have also been collaborating with renowned institutions, some of which are listed below.
- ❏ ASI Archaeology Chair: The ASI established an Endowment Fund for Rs. 5 crores to support the “ASI Archaeology Chair” at IIT Gandhinagar under the existing MoU between IITGN and ASI. The main objectives of this Chair are to “promote academic and research activities in archaeological sciences and related fields.”
- ❏ Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi: The Centre has two MoUs with ASI, which have resulted in several joint projects and programmes.
- ❏ Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.
- ❏ Archaeology departments in Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and Deccan College, Pune.
- ❏ Durham University, UK.
- ❏ University of Cambridge, UK, to promote and further academic links between the two institutions.
